Breaking News – Suspect Package Threat in Dover, Kent

Latest update: A team of explosive experts has been and gone from Dover seafront. The police presence has been removed and the seafront is now open.

Dover seafront, docks and some streets have been closed in Dover today as police are investigating a suspect package found at Dover docks. So far there is no news as to whether this is a terrorist incident or not. More news to follow. Correspondent in Dover now.

Update – Dover docks are open for business. It appears that they only suffered minor disruption form a suspect package which has been reported as being found in pubic toilets on Dover seafront. Police have reopened Townwall street in Dover, however the seafront remains cordoned off as off lunchtime today.
