Very Dry Martini Cocktail

You will need for one glass:

5-6 Ice cubes
7-8 tablespoons gin
2 tablespoons dry French vermouth
slice fresh lemon rind

1 Put the ice cubes into a glass jug.
2 Pour the vermouth and gin over the ice.
3 Stir (dont shake) vigorously and evenly without splashing.
4 Strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.
5 Twist the lemon rind over the drink and drop it in.
