William and Kate to move to Kensington Palace

St James’ Palace has announced that the newlywed Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are to live at Kensington Palace.  The couple currently reside in Anglesey, Wales, where Prince William is stationed as a search and rescue pilot. However, when they reside in London they will live at an apartment in Kensington Palace.

Kensington Palace is a good choice for the royals. Not only is it the former home of Princess Diana, but it is situated a stone’s throw from High Street Kensington and Knightsbridge’s Harrods and Harvey Nichols; just the thing for a young style conscious princess with money to spend on a new wardrobe. No doubt newspapers will soon be sporting images of Kate and her sister Pippa enoying shopping trips in one of London’s finest shopping districts.
